Frequently Asked Questions
Why is your shop empty? When will your next sale be?
Sales are once a month and are announced ahead of time on Instagram and Facebook. You can even find a countdown for my next sale on my Instagram under the highlight "Next Sale." The amount of creatures in my sale depends highly on workload from my day job. I sell out quickly, usually in minutes. I always announce an update weeks ahead of time with reminders on my instagram and Facebook.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I do ship internationally. I do not currrently ship to the EU as I am awaiting VAT registration.
Shipping prices are based on the weight of the package averaging between £18 and £23. Large or heavy sculptures can cost as much as £40 to ship internationally. All international packages come with a tracking number and insurance. Please keep in mind that International Shipping is a long process and can take 1-4 weeks to reach you. I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for any import fees, customs or taxes regulated by or calculated by your country as I have no way of knowing these fees.
Do you accept customs?
My custom list is closed at the moment but will reopen next year.
I wanted a dragon in your shop but it has sold! Can you make me the same dragon?
I am able to remake some dragons for auctions/adoptions but I no longer take customs.
What kind of clay and materials do you use for your sculptures?
I use primarily Fimo Professional polymer clay sometimes over a foil armature. Smaller details are attached with wire and clay adhesive or liquid clay. I use real crystal beads for eyes and sometimes glass beads. I also use mica powders, crystals and glitters in order to give my pieces an enchanted look and one of a kind design.
Some of your creatures seem pretty expensive. Why is this?
My creatures are all handmade and I use no moulds. Sometimes I use cutters but all other details are entirely handmade. Most of my designs take at least three hours of work. Add this to the cost of materials, packaging, added extras etc and you can understand why some of the prices may seem high. The cost reflects the time, detail and care taken in my art.
Can you replicate another artist's work I have seen?
No I will not replicate another artist's work. That is considered intellectual theft and is wrong. Every artist, including me, has worked hard to develop a style that is uniquely theirs. You should contact a specific artist if you want to own a peice of their work.
I received my creature today and it was damaged upon delivery, what should I do?
Thankfully damages do not occur often due to my packaging methods but they do happen! You should contact me immediately if an item arrives damaged. Most of the time, small damages like a snapped horn or missing toe can be rectified with a small amount of gel superglue. If the damage is more severe the item can be returned for a repair or for a full refund. I am keen to always resolve issues with customers and damaged items so please do contact me!
Where can I find you on social media?
I am very active on my Facebook and Instagram account which are linked at the top of my website. I also recently started a Tik Tok account so you can view how I make my creatures.
